Description Casali del Benessere La Rocca

The Casali de Benessere la Rocca is situated in the Trasimeno Lake district, an area which has been elected natural park some years ago and offers the visitors a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The excursions on horseback or by feet in the uncontaminated woods, the pleasent hours on the beaches by the lake, the visits to the charming fishermen villages browsing for the laces on the Isola Maggiore or for  copper and wrought  iron handicrafts, allows you to enter a magic atmosphere where nature and human activities meets and live happily together.

The cities of art close by may be your main destination and starting points for interesting trips among cultural events and traces of ancient  times: the Palio di Siena, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, the Festival dei due Mondi in Spoleto, Etruscan remains around Perugia and many others.

Olive Oil, Truffles, various kinds of cold meets and salami, rare local wines are the basic ingredients of an ancient and spicy cookery exalted in many village festivals held during summertime everywhere in this area.

- Waterfall shower
Used before and after heat therapy (infrared cabin), the waterfall shower is particularly effective: one of the effectso of heat therapy is to cause dilation of the peripheral arteries and their contraction near the internal organs.This unbalance can lead to a feeling of tiredness and the waterfall shower, using alternating cycles of hot and cold water, dilates and contracts the arteries in rapid succession, restoring the circulatory balance and correct oxygenation of the blood vessels.
- Infrared Sauna
Infrared cabin, low temperature therapeutic cabin with heating via infrared radiation, the first "sauna" without palpitations.
Infrared rays are particularly beneficial to the human body because they:
- stimulate cells
- improve blood circulation
- help the metabolism
- eliminate toxins with the sweat

COSMETIC

- Musicotherapy in water
Mankind has always sought out new tones, and has created ever more sophisticated instruments to produce new sounds. Music therapy in water does not change the music itself, but rather the way of perceiving it by using the whole body as a receiver.
The geometric organisation of the water molecules changes according to the frequencies and modulations that it receives. Once immersed in water, the latter functions asa propagator of the sound waves, so that the body vibrates.

The marriage of music and water produces a marvellous sound sensation. It is total relaxation: you enter a new world, made up of musical laws unknown until now. If you love music, you will discover it in a different way than that in which you have listened to it before.
Relaxation that arrives from the water, which combines the benefits of music and colour therapy. Music underwater, therefore, immersed in a pool at body temperature; you only have to break the surface by a few centimetres to enjoy a piece of music.
